Focus® DAILIES® PROGRESSIVES with AquaComfort™
Progressive lenses - progressive comfort
A great-looking alternative to bifocals
Almost everyone begins to lose the ability to focus up close after they are 40. It's a condition called presbyopia. The key sign that you're developing presbyopia is that you need to hold reading material further from your eyes to see it clearly. Like other things in life, it's inevitable, but it's not serious. No matter how good or bad your eyesight was before, the inability to focus on near objects can easily be corrected. With Focus DAILIES PROGRESSIVES with AquaComfort you'll be able to see near, far and everything in between.
What are progressive contact lenses?
"Progressive", also called varifocal contact lenses provide clear vision at all distances. The difference between these and bifocals and trifocals is that the viewing zones gradually blend into each other. Correction for near vision lies around the central portion of the lens, correction for intermediate distances occurs in the more outer regions of the lens. Your own visual system learns to interpret the correct power choice depending on how close or far you're looking and selecting the appropriate focus as needed.
Progress in comfort
Focus DAILIES PROGRESSIVES with AquaComfort lenses are configured to provide optimal focus and reduce side effects such as glare or "ghost" images.
